The Standard Response Protocol (SRP) from the I Love You Guys Foundation provides consistent terms and expectations for all area school districts to respond to an emergency. BSD families were provided this information in February and in the May 3 weekly newsletter. This handout includes how parents can help in emergency situations. Playing for Paws
Thank you to Ben and The People's Community Bank for discussing the importance of budgeting and saving money through reading the book "A boy, a Budget, and a Dream" and providing Piggy Banks to our first and second grade students. Students have a savings thermometer to keep track of their first budgeting item.
Postponed sporting events
Barneveld students toured Southwest Health Center in Platteville and were able to learn about a variety of healthcare careers. The students were invited to come back and job shadow in areas of interest.
