Building our future

A Look at Wisconsin students on their first walk around Barneveld to study the local landscape, economy, and history. We even met our good friend and former school employee Mary Ann Brindley on our travels!

Emma Lickel is a Youth Apprentice in the Marketing pathway at the Mt. Horeb Do It Best Cooperative. She plans to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College for Dental Hygiene next fall and says learning to work with many different types of people will help her in her future career.

Our January Student of the Month Luncheon was celebrated today. We honored these students with pizza, sweets, and juice boxes. Teachers nominate students each month for their positive behavior and success in the classroom. Keep up the great work!

The middle school students earned a trip to the tubing hill at Tyrol. This was earned through academic success, attendance, and behavior. It was a day of lots of laughs and fun. We could not have asked for more amazing weather, as noted by the removal of several coats.










Brynn Ploessl is a Youth Apprentice in the Hospitality pathway at Hi-Point Steak House in Ridgeway. The people skills she has developed working at Hi-Point will help her as she pursues Sonography next year at Edgewood College.

This weekend is the Suicide Prevention Fundraiser - Bowling, Trivia & Silent Auction in Dodgeville at the Dodger Bowl. More teams are needed!!!!! (Bowling & Trivia) The poster is Attached, and registration is on the website: www.suicide-SWWI.org
