Spring Break Office Hours

High School Band and Choir members put on a performance for the elementary school to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month! The choir acted out the story of The Grouchy Ladybug and taught the audience a song to go with it, and the band got the crowd dancing with some pep band tunes.

We celebrated our Student of the Month Luncheon for the month of February. We honored these students with pizza, sweets, juice boxes, and prizes. Teachers nominate students each month for their positive behavior and success in the classroom. Keep up the great work!

Starting at 5:30 PM today, there will be a fire truck parade coming into town from Blue Mounds, escort will go down ID, left on Jones Street, to the school. Followed by a celebration in the school gym.

Last Friday some of our 4th and 5th graders competed in both team and individual Lit War Competitions held at CESA 3. They have spent the last few months reading and preparing for these competitions.
Natalie Knox placed 1st in her individual competition.
Mila Langdon, Katie Lundt, and Coryn Roethle all placed 2nd in their individual competitions.
Harper Reynolds placed 3rd in her individual book competition.
Great job 4th and 5th graders.

How to Buy Tickets for Saturday

Dear School Families and Community Members,
We are thrilled to congratulate the Barneveld Girls Basketball Team on their incredible sectional final victory, earning them a trip to the WIAA State Tournament in Green Bay! The team's hard work, determination, and team spirit have brought immense pride to our school and community.
One of the greatest benefits of being part of a small community is the unity we share. To allow as many students and staff members as possible to attend the game and cheer on our Lady Eagles, there will be NO SCHOOL on Friday for staff or students and the school building will be CLOSED. There will be no fan bus due to driver availability.
Ticket Information
The #3 seeded Barneveld Eagles will take the court on Friday at 10:45 AM in the Division 5 semifinal game against Oshkosh Lourdes Academy at the Resch Center.
All tickets must be purchased online, and Barneveld has a designated fan section at the Resch Center. Please use the included link and promo code to purchase tickets in the Barneveld section. This section will open to the general public 12 hours before the game, so be sure to secure your seats as soon as possible!
Tickets: $13 per person (children two and under do not require a ticket). There is a specific adult and student section. Be sure to purchase tickets in the appropriate section.
Rush to the Resch Contest: The school that sells the most pre-sale tickets in each division will win a $2,000 prize! Only tickets purchased using Barneveld’s promo code will count toward this contest. Let’s sell out our section! Deadline for Division 5 Contest: Thursday at 9:00 PM

The public is welcome to join the Barneveld School staff and students in sending off the team! The public may line the school sidewalk and entrance driveway at 8:15 am on Thursday, March 13.
Let’s show our Barneveld spirit, pack the Resch Center, and cheer on our Lady Eagles to victory! Thank you for your continued support of our student-athletes—we can’t wait to see the sea of purple and gold in Green Bay!
Go Eagles!

🎉 Yesterday, March 2nd, marked what would have been, Dr. Seuss's 121st birthday 🎉
The elementary students also had some fun with a cup challenge and rhyming words.
These third grade boys are especially proud of their cup creation.

The Barneveld Music Department is celebrating Music in Our Schools Month in March! K-12 music students each created a puzzle piece stating why they enjoy music. Music is an important part of our students education here at Barneveld, and we are lucky to be able to learn and produce music everyday. We appreciate all of the support from parents, students, staff, and our community. Happy Music in Our Schools Month!
