Thank you to the Barneveld Lutheran Church for donating over $2500 toward unpaid account balances for fees that have been applied throughout the school year. Because of this donation, there are currently no outstanding fees for earbuds, technology, registration, broken devices, assignment notebooks, etc. Thank you to the Lutheran Church for making this possible.
Earlier this week, 8 of our young math students traveled to Albany for the reinstated Six Rivers Math Competition. Barneveld bested the ten other schools who participated in claiming victory for the Level 1 Competition (Sophomores and younger). The sum of our team's 8 Individual Test Scores sneaked past Highland by 5 points, and our participants collaborated magnificently in also having the highest Team Test Score. Special recognition is owed to Nolan Baryenbruch for besting all others on the Individual Test by answering 7 out of 10 questions correctly as only an 8th Grader. Congratulations to all team members.

A few of our high school students were able to attend a leadership conference at CESA 3. We look forward to utilizing these skills as we explore implementing a peer leader model in our middle and high schools.
