Local Author Visit - The Barneveld School District is excited to welcome Kate Tarrell on April 29 to read her newly published book "IncREDible Friends" to our 4K through grade 3 students. Attached is Kate’s bio and order form for the book if you or your student are interested. Orders are due to the school office by 3:00 pm on Monday, April 28.
My name is Kate Tarrell, and I’m a senior at Highland High School. Through my Senior Exit Project, I have written and illustrated my own children's book. The story has been very healing to me because it’s based on my life journey. Each character has insecurities they face which happen to be my own. The main character, Mae, helps her friends realize they aren’t alone in anything. The book teaches valuable lessons about compassion, empathy, and kindness. It’s a heartwarming story that focuses on the topics I believe are essential for children as they grow and mature.

Reminder: No School on Friday and Monday.
Enjoy the long weekend!
