The high school Physical Science class is investigating circuits. After building the model of the transmission of electricity from a power plant (set of batteries) to a substation (a dissected power strip) to various buildings in a community (dissected power strips connected to light bulbs), they determined how broken circuits and short circuits would effect a community. We will be using our model to answer the driving question of the unit - "How can we design better electricity to meet our communities' needs?"

Congratulations goes out to the Wisconsin Heights/Barneveld Soccer team on a Fantastic Season! We'd also like to congratulate those earning All-Conference recognition!!

What's going around at school?! We have seen numerous cases of an unknown stomach bug at all levels of education here in the Barneveld School District. Symptoms including stomach ache, vomiting, and diarrhea have been reported for 24-48 hours. Student's with symptoms such as these will be sent home from school and need to remain there until 24 hours after the last episode. This will limit the spread of illness throughout the community. Kicking off the cold and flu season, please remember to practice good hand hygiene, cover coughs and sneezes, and stay home when indicated. Review the school's illness policy to determine when your student needs to stay home.
