More pictures from 1st grade having so much fun learning about the human body that we had to share ALL the pictures! Once their surgical gowns were on, the first graders had the chance to create their patients by placing all the body systems in the correct places. Then they participated in "surgery day" to test their skills. Students also created healthy plates to discuss the different food groups and how to incorporate them into our everyday meals. Lastly, a big thanks to Barneveld EMTs who brought the ambulance to show them how to keep their bodies healthy and safe.

4K had a fun-filled, educational and chilly trip to Bures Berry Patch! We learned about where some of our food comes from including raspberries, strawberries and rhubarb. We helped feed the chickens, met the farm kittens, found our way out of the corn maze, went for a hay ride and we each picked a gourd and pumpkin to bring home. Our class mascot, Eddie Eagle, even got to come with us! Thank you to Farmer Ed and Kathy for a wonderful field trip!
