On that ridiculously warm and windy last Tuesday of October, Ecology students hiked down a tributary of Mill Creek at Malcolm Stack Foundation, Ridgeway. They sighted not only gray squirrels and cottontail rabbits, but also whitetail deer and a bobcat! Along the way, they measured air and water temperatures, recorded tree species, and studied outcrops of the same Ordovician sandstone that forms the Ridgeway Pine Relic State Natural Area.

Students in Ms. Rosenberger's homeroom decorated the band room door this past week with the theme of "There is snow place like Band!" Each member of the Middle and High School band then made an individual snowflake to represent themselves in the band program. The band program is lucky to have so many amazing and unique musicians!
