2024-2025 Barneveld 4K
In preparation for the 2024-2025 school year, the Barneveld School District will hold a 4-year-old kindergarten screening on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.
If your child will be 4 years of age on or before September 1, 2024, please contact Laura Rhoades-Jenson at the district office (608) 924-4711 to be added to the list to receive notifications and information regarding 4K enrollment. Students who will be eligible to attend 5-year-old kindergarten in the fall of 2024 who did not attend 4-year-old kindergarten this year may also sign up for the screening.
All students who reside within the district are eligible for this program. If you reside outside the district and are interested in open enrollment, please see the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website for more details.

The 4K classroom is located in the lower level of the Barneveld Public Library and meets 4 days a week for a ½ day session in the morning or afternoon. Transportation is provided within the district. If your child is 3 and will not be 4 before September 1, 2023, and you have concerns or questions about their development or speech, please contact Pupil Services Director, Katie Kavanaugh (kkavanaugh@barneveld.k12.wi.us or (608) 924-4711 x1226) to set up an appointment.
