More pictures from 1st grade having so much fun learning about the human body that we had to share ALL the pictures! Once their surgical gowns were on, the first graders had the chance to create their patients by placing all the body systems in the correct places. Then they participated in "surgery day" to test their skills. Students also created healthy plates to discuss the different food groups and how to incorporate them into our everyday meals. Lastly, a big thanks to Barneveld EMTs who brought the ambulance to show them how to keep their bodies healthy and safe.

Once their surgical gowns were on, the first graders had the chance to create their own patient by placing all the body systems in the correct places. Then they participated in "surgery day" to test their skills. Students also created healthy plates to discuss the different food groups and how to incorporate them in our every day meals. Lastly, a big thanks to Barneveld EMTs who brought the ambulance to show them how to keep their bodies healthy and safe.
